Colonel Bhushan Sapra is alumnus of India's apex armed forces officers training academy, the National Defence Academy, Kahdakwasla. Bhushan is an Infantry officer with 22 years of experience in the army which includes extensive exposure to combat and conflict situations including combat operations in Siachen Glacier, Operation Vijay (Kargil) and about 10 years of counter insurgency / counter terrorist operations in Jammu & Kashmir, Nagaland, Assam and Manipur. Bhushan has extensive experience in both command and staff appointments in the Army including two tenures with the Ministry of Defence and two international tenures with United Nations and NATO.

Bhushan took premature retirement from the army in 2009 and has since been engaged with Risk Consulting. He was COO of a Risk Consulting Company for two years and was involved with managing operations including brand protection, complex corporate investigations, security consulting and other functions of risk management for various multinational and Indian companies. Moving on from consulting, Bhushan joined Johnson & Johnson as Consultant, Brand Protection and Security and was responsible for managing brand protection operations and security operations for APAC region for a duration of two years.

Identifying the need for high quality Corporate Risk Solutions provider, Bhushan raised Nucleion in April 2013, with an aim to leverage his keen understanding of market malpractices and security dynamics to provide Risk Consulting to the Indian and multinational corporate houses.
